London Olympic Games
Did you see the London Olympic Games? What did you see in particular: taekwondo, basketball, athletics, synchronized swimming, ...?
It was very exiting to see Usain Bolt´s race getting a new olympic record and the last competition of Michael Phelps. Also, it was exciting to see the last basketball match, USA-Spain, altough USA won, and the final battle that the Spanish Joel González won.
The closing ceremony was also very funny, seemed a music concert. Such artists as Jessie J, and Taio Cruz song. There were beautiful moments as when Jessie J and other singer song a legendary song of Queen, and when the beautiful song Imagine of John Lennon. (Andrea Estruga 4º)
This year the Olympic Games were in London the 24th
of July. I liked the opening ceremony. It was very original. It was of
the history of London.
My favourite
sport is the synchronized swimming. It was very interesting. This sport
combines swimming, gymnastics and dance. You can be in pairs or teams
(max.8). Spain got silver medal in pairs and bronze medal in teams.
I also liked the "calavado". Jumps are from 10 meters high. I also saw the hurdles races and canoeing on Tv.
The closing ceremony was also nice. There have been also the Paralympics.

I saw all the
Olympics Games. My favourite event was the Men's 50 km Race Walk because
this event went arround the London streets and I was located in front
of Buckingham Palace to see the race. There were a lot of people of
diferent countries who were encouraging the athletes of their countries,
I encouraged he Spanish athletes. It was an exciting experience in
spite of the fact that the Spanish athletes didn't finish the race in
the first positions Oscar Millanes 4º
Did you see the triathlon men´s final ?
Write a comentary about it.
It´s a really exciting event because it has some different sports in the same event.
The players start swimming, then they have to ride a bike. Both of them are really tiring. finally they have to run until the end.
This year a British sportsman won the event. The second was Javier Gomez, a Spanish athlete and the bronze was for a British boy, too. (Luis Rodriguez . 2º BTO)
